Food Day Event

Food Day 2022

This year's Food Day will be held Sept. 26-Oct. 1, with an in-person event at the Omaha Farmers Market on Saturday, Oct. 1. In addition, we'll be sharing stories on our website and Facebook page about local producers, restaurants, retailers, and nonprofits that strengthen our food systems and keep Omahans healthy.

During the week of Sept. 26-Oct. 1, community members can visit the Food Day website and Facebook page to discover how local food-based organizations are contributing to our local food sector. For each day of the week, the Food Day Facebook page will feature videos and profiles on organizations that are fighting food insecurity and making a difference in the community.

We want to hear about how your organization is impacting our food system! To share your story, click the link below. You can submit a form through Sept. 9.
